Blubbr
Soren is a 20 year old from Seattle, Washington. In the wake of the GameStop revolution, he and his co-founders created a stock trading platform using Replit that tracks company reports and notifies people when prices are likely to go up. That platform is called Blubbr, and they're making $1,000 each month in revenue. To learn more about how they created their own startup, and why they chose Replit, check out Soren's blogpost.

Replit Env Secrets
Replit used to have no way to store secret keys or passwords away from prying eyes. Replers had to purchase the hacker plan for this luxury. We didn't think this was very fair, and hence .env files were born. This allowed people to create a file only they could see, and hide private details away. While functional, not a lot of people knew about this feature, and only a few who read Replit specific tutorials had learned about it. That's why we created the GUI for creating environment variables. Click on the Lock icon in the toolbar and you'll be greeted with an easy to use menu to quickly set up your program's secrets. To learn more about the change, check out our blog post.
